Day 1 |

Arrival at Airport / Railway Station in Kochi - embark your 'magic' expedition with a drive up the high ranges to Munnar, Kerala's foremost hill station. En-route, halt for a while and take your time to enjoy the beautiful Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls. Later, continue to Munnar and check into your Resort Hotel. Spend the rest of the day harmonizing with the new surroundings. Stay overnight at the Resort.

Enjoy a full day in Munnar to discover this marvelous town at your own pace. Start your sightseeing right after a delicious breakfast. First get to know Munnar's prime assets with visits to beauty-spots like, the Echo Point, Hydel project & sceneries at Pallivasal, Ravishing reservoir at Malankara and the hilly habitat of endangered 'Nilgiri Tahr' at Rajamalai. Afterwards, a short drive brings you to the nearby Mattupetty Reservoir, a serene spot where you can avail the boating facility. As night falls, return to your Resort for overnight stay.

Another full day is yours to continue your discovery of Munnar. Entertainments are in plenty… Feel the fresh mountain air and mist-coated hills at the Lock Heart Gap. Watch the highly clear sky at the Observatory Hills. Enjoy the dazzling Kuthumkal Waterfalls. Visit the Tea Museum - a unique one in Kerala! If time permits, pay a visit to the delightful hilltop, Devikulam and the charming little town Kundala. Later on, get back to your Resort and stay overnight.

Day 4 |

This morning, drive to the marvelous landscape, Thekkady. On arrival, get into your Resort at Thekkady. Soon, set out to uncover the Periyar National Park. Take a boat cruise in the huge Periyar Lake with glimpses of a variety of wild species viz., Sambars, Elephants, Gaurs, Nilgiri Langurs … Later, return to your Resort for overnight stay.

Today, you will have an opportunity to experience the Kerala backwaters. Drive to Alappuzha, the stronghold of Kerala backwaters - to start off your cruise! Transfer to Kerala's unique floating wonder - the Houseboat. Start cruising along the attractive Alappuzha Backwaters - a voyage to grasp the real spirit of Kerala! Watch the shores dotted with armies of ducks, abundant birdlife, lush paddies, gentle rural folks … realize the true charm of Palmlands. Spice up your voyage with delightful, mouth-watering Kerala cuisines. Overnight stay at the Houseboat.

Day 6 |

Your backwater cruise concludes this morning. Say bye to the waters and take a drive to Kovalam - the beach heaven. On arrival, transfer to your Resort at Kovalam. After refreshment; set out to experience Kovalam's stunning seashores. Spend the day relaxing on the sun-kissed sandy beaches. Later, get back to your Resort for overnight stay.

Now, it's time for a city hunt. Drive to Thiruvananthapuram - Kerala's celebrated capital city. On arrival; set out to familiarize the city. Pay a visit to the city's famous trademarks like the marvelous Kanakakkunnu Palace and Napier Museum - a treasure store for historians. View the rare collection of paintings at the nearby Sree Chitra Art Gallery. Enjoy the botanically-rich Zoological Park and the adjoining Zoo (one of the first in the country). Then proceed to experience the city's legacy at the sacred Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple and the interesting monument - Kuthiramalika Palace Museum. After feasting your eyes, return to the Hotel for overnight stay.

Enjoy the final day at leisure. Later, leave your Hotel, bid adieu to Thiruvananthapuram and drive to the Airport / Railway Station. Depart with complete satisfaction.

Conditions
The package cost is inclusive of Accommodation for a couple (taxes incl.) with Breakfast (CPAI) and Overnight stay in Houseboat with full meals (APAI). A/c will be provided in the Houseboat from 6 pm to 6 am. Taxi is not included in the Package.
If required, taxi will be arranged.
1. All packages are valid from Oct 1st 2009 to Jan 15th 2010
2. A hike of 25% will be levied in all package’s prices - from Dec 15th 2009 to Jan 15th 2010 only
3. Also, a Supplementary charge will be applicable (depending on Hotels/Resorts) on special
occasions like, Diwali, Christmas and New Year
